Since adding Zesty’s Commitment Manager to its strategic FinOps package ACKstorm customers have seen up to 45% savings on EC2 spend

Tel Aviv, Israel and Madrid, Spain– June 14, 2023 –– Zesty, a pioneer in dynamic cloud infrastructure solutions, today announced the renewal and expansion of their partnership with ACKstorm, a provider of cloud services and solutions. Over 150 ACKstorm customers are already using Zesty’s Commitment Manager to predict EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) usage and automatically adjust Reserved Instance commitments according to real-time needs. By making constant adjustments based on real-time requirements and ever-changing business goals, companies can achieve the ideal coverage rate for Reserved Instances and avoid costly on-demand models, saving them as much as 45% on EC2 spend.

Global cloud spend is predicted to reach nearly $600 billion this year and during these uncertain economic times, companies are looking to cut costs wherever they can – with many focusing on rising cloud costs. A recent report found that 95% of CXOs consider cloud cost optimization to be of medium or high priority over the next two years, and only 65% find that cloud provider tools are good enough.

ACKstorm employs Zesty as part of its ACK Managed FinOps strategy package to help customers minimize cloud costs and optimize cloud investment. In the first year of implementation, ACKstorm was able to generate more than $500K in cloud savings for its customers, as well as attract new SMB and ISV customers. Heading into the second year of the partnership, customer savings are projected to exceed $2 million.

“Zesty forms strategic partnerships with key regional partners who have a keen understanding of the needs of companies and are committed to providing them with significant value and clear ROI,” said Maxim Melamedov, CEO and co-founder of Zesty. “Partnerships with companies like ACKstorm help Zesty achieve its goal of allowing more businesses to reduce expenses, improve the efficiency of their DevOps operations, and fulfill the full potential of cloud technology.”

“We see ACKstorm as an important and strategic partner for the Spanish market. Zesty is proud to be included in ACKstorm’s Well Architected Review methodology and together, we have already seen a lot of success helping Spanish customers optimize their cloud investment,” said Lucia Meyassed, Global Partner Manager Team Lead at Zesty, “We look forward to achieving even greater success in upcoming years, enabling more Spanish companies to use the cloud more efficiently to maximize their cloud ROI.”

“It is increasingly evident how crucial FinOps has become for every organization operating in the cloud,” said Fernando Benito, COO and Partner Manager of ACKstorm. “Cloud tools that have an immediate impact always lead to satisfied customers, but the level of excitement we have seen from our new Zesty users is unprecedented. Requiring almost zero human input and with clearly demonstrable ROI, Zesty represents the very best of cloud solutions ACKstorm seeks to provide.”

Zesty and ACKstorm will both be at the AWS Summit in Madrid on June 15th. If you’re interested in learning more about the offering, you’ll find them at booth S6.
