Commitment Manager

Maximize EC2 savings with
full flexibility

Forget manual Savings Plans optimizations. Automatically cut EC2 costs with a dynamic Savings Plans coverage that fits your changing workloads’ demand.

The Problem

The true cost of
fixed commitments

As EC2 workloads fluctuate, teams rely on On-Demand instances, driving up spend. While Savings Plans seem like a good solution to reduce costs, long-term commitments introduce significant financial risk. Without the flexibility to scale as needed, teams are left constantly adjusting and watching costs rise.

How It Works

Commitments that scale
with demand

Our AI-driven algorithm dynamically purchases small units of Savings Plans based on your usage and commitment strategy. It gradually builds a flexible portfolio that maximizes savings. As usage shifts, micro-commitments expire naturally, eliminating lock-in, minimizing risk, and adapting to shifting demand. This automated process ensures scalable, long-term optimization.

If you’ve made it this far, these questions are for you

How does the pricing model work?

Commitment manager’s pricing model is purely success-based, so if Zesty doesn’t save you anything, we don’t get paid either. Our bill is based on a percentage of what we have saved our customers, with lower percentages available if you would like to sign a longer contract with us.

Yes, security is a priority. The platform complies with industry standards, encrypts all data, and offers role-based access controls, ensuring only authorized users can access your cost data and settings. Only metadata and usage metrics are collected, Zesty doesn’t have access to any data on the EC2 instance.
Commitment Manager does not require an agent, nor does it access your AWS EC2 instances. Zesty requires an IAM role to be set up and linked to the Zesty dashboard. With these limited permissions, our AI algorithms can analyze AWS usage data and send commands for buying Savings Plans.

No, our platform is designed for a quick and simple onboarding process. Creating an IAM role takes just a few minutes. Our customers are up and running in no time, with full support to ensure a smooth start on our platform.

Savings are visible from day one. The time to achieve maximum coverage can vary by a few weeks, depending on the current level of coverage and existing commitment portfolio.
